INGREDIENTS :
- Jowar flour – 1 cup (makes around 20 mathris)
- Salt – 2 tsp (adjust according to taste)
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
- Sesame seeds – 2 tsp
- Ghee – 3 tbsp
- Water as required
METHOD:
- Take jowar flour in a vessel & add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, kasuri methi, sesame seeds. Mix well.
- Now add ghee & mix nicely. Ghee should be enough in flour to form a ball like as shown in video.
- Add water gradually & make a dough.
- Cover it & let it rest for 15-20 mins
- Now make small balls from the dough & place it on baking tray.
- Now make shape as you like. I pressed it with base of a glass or bowl.
- Bake on 160° for 20 mins & once its cool down keep it in a jar & enjoy
