Chicken and Lettuce Rolls

What makes these chicken and lettuce rolls healthy? Besides being tasty and different from your regular chicken salad, these rolls are a great source of lean protein and are packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants which makes it a perfect meal for those looking at shedding some kilos and boosting their immunity.


  • 100 gms minced chicken breast
  • ¼ ” ginger minced
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 1 bunch spring onion (white and green separately chopped)
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp Jeera powder
  • Salt as required
  • Oil for frying

Remaining filling:

  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 diced tomato
  • 1 diced bell pepper
  • Coriander chopped
  • Lettuce iceberg


  1. Heat oil in skillet and fry chicken mince lightly, add ginger and garlic. Saute until fragrant. Next add turmeric powder, chilli powder and jeera powder. Stir for 1 minute on medium heat. Remove from heat.
  2. Toss together chopped vegetables with the cooled chicken mixture, add lime juice and chopped coriander and spoon the mixture into the lettuce leaves and roll and serve.
