Hung curd is nothing but curd drained of all its water. This recipe can be easily made at home. Hung curd with basil seeds is an excellent snack option that will regulate cholesterol and reduce high blood pressure. It is also low in fat and rich in calcium.
- Curd- 100g
- Basil seeds- ¼ tsp
- Basil leaves- 3-4 nos.
- Tie some curd in a muslin cloth and leave it hanging for at least 3-4 hours or till all the water drains out. After this time period, pressure is applied to the bundle to squeeze out all the water and the hung curd is ready. Refrigerate the bowl of hung curd and add ¼ tsp of basil seeds. Let it sit for 2 hours and serve with basil leaves.
