Red Bellpepper Hummus

A great dip for veggies or served chapatti.

Ingredients :

  • Chickpeas- 1 cup (boiled without salt)
  • Roasted red pepper- 1 small 
  • Minced garlic clove – ½ to 1 
  • Sesame paste- ½  tsp
  • Cumin or to taste- ¼ tsp
  • Juice of one large lemon
  • Salt as per taste
  • Pepper optional- ¼ tsp
  • Crushed chilli flakes optional, if you want a spicy option- ½  tsp

Method :

Add the cooked chickpeas to a food processor and process until very creamy. Add the other ingredients and blend in well. Traditionally served with drizzled olive oil and chopped parsley.
