A great dip for veggies or served chapatti.
- Chickpeas- 1 cup (boiled without salt)
- Roasted red pepper- 1 small
- Minced garlic clove – ½ to 1
- Sesame paste- ½ tsp
- Cumin or to taste- ¼ tsp
- Juice of one large lemon
- Salt as per taste
- Pepper optional- ¼ tsp
- Crushed chilli flakes optional, if you want a spicy option- ½ tsp
Add the cooked chickpeas to a food processor and process until very creamy. Add the other ingredients and blend in well. Traditionally served with drizzled olive oil and chopped parsley.
