Chocolate Amaranth Kheer


  • Milk-150 ml 
  • Popped amaranth-2 tbsp 
  • Almonds- 5 to 6 nos.
  • Rasins-5 to 6/ dates-2 nos
  • Cinnamon/ elaichi-2 pinch
  • Desi ghee-½ tsp
  • Dark chocolate grated-1 sq


Roast the amaranth in a pan. Then add little hot water, allow to cook for 2 mins. Then add chopped almonds, raisins/ dates. Now add cup of milk and add a pinch of cinnamon or elaichi. Cook for 2 to 3 mins on a low flame. Add grated chocolate.

Note: This can be served hot or chilled.
