Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- Half tbsp grated ginger
- 1 spring onion whites
- ¼ cup french beans
- ¼ cup chopped lauki
- Salt
- Pinch of haldi
- Half tsp jeera
- Grounded black pepper
Method
- Heat the olive oil in a pan.
- Add the onion, ginger and jeera sauteing until softened about 5-6 minutes.
- Add beans, lauki and 1 glass of water, bring to a simmer and cook steadily until the beans and lauki are very tender, about 7-8 minutes.
- Puree the soup with an immersion blender or in a food processor. Return the soup to a simmer and stir about 4-5 minutes.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
