- 1 cup wheat flour
- ½ bunch fenugreek leaves (methi)
- 2 pinches salt
- ½ tsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves
- 2 chopped green chili
- 4 tbsp ghee
- ¾ cup gram flour (besan)
- 1 cup water
- To prepare mix wheat flour, gram flour (besan), dried fenugreek, ginger and fresh fenugreek in a bowl. Stir well and water to knead it into a soft dough.
- Then prepare small balls from the dough and roll them into thin circles. Then take a tawa and heat it on medium flame. Grease it with ghee or oil and cook the thepla on tawa. Cook from both sides till it turns golden, serve it hot with some mint chutney.
