Ingredients:
- 1 cup almonds – roasted
- ¼th cup – cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp honey / maple syrup
Method:
- Roast the almonds in a pan for about 3-5 minutes, or until they are fragrant and lightly browned.
- Blend until the almonds break down and form a creamy a buttery consistency.
- Add the cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup to the formed paste.
- Blend the mixture until all the ingredients are well combined and the spread becomes smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the almond butter chocolate spread to a clean, airtight container. Store it in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
